Ystradgynlais RFC

Ystradgynlais RFC was formed in 1890 and they play their rugby at The Recreation Ground. A village Rugby Union team in the Swansea Valley, currently competing in Division 4 South West of the Welsh National Leagues. The club is full of history and have enjoyed both success and disapointment over the years. Probably the most succesfull rugby side in the Swansea Valley and have always competed well through out West Wales. Ystradgynlais Rugby is currently re-building the club by having several mini and junior sides available, ranging from under 8's to youth level.

Ystradgynlais is an Ospreys feeding club and has recently seen six youth players being picked for the region.
