Runner up spot for Lyn

It unlucky but well done at the same time for Lyn ‘ Kipper’ Thomas who was runner up in this years sports personality of the year for Brecon and Radnor in the disabled section.

Kipper has done amazingly well in a short period of time since taking up wheel chair tennis. He has won singles and doubles tournaments all around Wales, England and Ireland and is running out of room in the home for the number of trophies he has.

Lyn of course is a former captain of Ystradgynlais RFC and in my opinion the best winger I have ever seen in the Blue and white Jersey. He also played for West Wales, Breconshire and unfortunately for Llanelli.

He has proved he is a competitor and a winning performer and everyone at Ystradgynlais RFC would like to congratulate him on his success and hope he continues in the same vain if not better himself.
