Success with the Juniors and Minis

Ystradgynlais Under 16s defeated Bridgend on sunday in the Ospreys cup. They won 11 - 7 and now face Gorseinon in the final on Sunday April 27th 2008 at the Gnoll. All support welcome and I promise you this side is worth watching a real Golden Generation!

Three of our Mini Sides were in Action on sunday up in the Brecon festival. The under 9's were unlucky not to progress from what was a tough group but the boys played Well and enjoyed.  The under 10's were outstanding and were unfortunate to lose in the final against the hosts Brecon.  The under 11's also got to their respected final but unfortuantely lost against Pontypridd in an exting final!  Photo's will soon follow.

Congratulations to Iwan Evans from Ystradgynlais U 11's on being selected to represent West Wales against East Wales This Wednesday, K.O. 6pm [16.4.08]. Good Luck my young friend everyone at the club wishes you well as you represent our village in the encounter.  Enjoy the experiance and just do your best, and remember a quote from the late great Ray Gravell 'West is Best' Pob Lwc!
